Website Accessibility
A website should be able to be used by anyone, whether they are disabled or not. For example, a user who is partially sighted or blind, or perhaps cannot use a mouse should be able to use the website easily.
What is Website Accessibility?
Accessibility is the term used to describe how accessible a website is. An accessible website means it has been produced to at least a minimum level of accessibility and that it will meet the requirements of the Disability Discrimination Act 1995. Accessibility standards are specified by the Worldwide Web Consortium (W3C), a body who govern overall web standards and guidelines. There are three levels of accessibility from Priority 1 to Priority 3.

The Ants Inya Pants Website meets Priority level 2 across the whole website, and the requirements of Priority level 3 across most of the website.
Text Size
The size of text, including menu items and links, is specified in relative units. This means that the text size of the website can be easily changed from your web browser.
The text size options are usually located in the View menu of your web browser and called Text Size or something similar. On some browsers such as Firefox, the text size can be changed by holding the CTRL key (Control key for Mac) and moving the mouse scroller wheel.
JavaScript, Styles and Graphics
The website has been designed to work and can be used fully if JavaScript, Images and/or Styles are not able to be used or are not enabled in the browser.
Tab Order
Each page of the website has a logical tab order which follows the natural layout of the document whether styles are used to view the page or not.

Links
All links on the website that are internal to the website will not open the linked-to page a new window. Links to other websites will open the website in a new browser window, and will indicate that this is going to happen prior to clicking the link.
Tables
No tables have been used for the purpose of design or layout in this website. Tables are used only to display data.
Website Standards
The code that the Ants Inya Pants website is written in has been checked and validates to W3C standards. This means that the website will work correctly using standards compliant browsers and special assistive software that is used by those who are blind.
